If you are looking for a pediatric health care home, we are here!

We offer primary care services (within the functional medicine framework) to children 2 years and older. This will include medication prescribing. (if needed). 

For our littles at ANY age that are looking to establish for Holistic/Functional Care, please schedule with Dr. Christina or Dr. Walter.  For those looking for traditional primary care & pediatrics that are 2 years and older, please schedule with nurse practitioner Nikki. Nikki sees patients telemedicine on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday but she's in the office every other Wednesday as well! Meagan sees patients that are 5 years and older. 

Even though we offer some basic primary care, we always try to provide care within the functional medicine framework.  Primary care is offered for children 2 years old and above; including medication prescribing when needed.

Annual Wellness Visits or Regular Check-Ups

We recommend having your child seen for an annual wellness exam once per year. We also recommend having a routine check-up in between annual examinations. At these appointments, we review medical history, address social/behavioral/academic concerns, order any necessary lab work (we do try to limit blood work for the little ones), many any necessary treatment plans or referrals.  

Sick Visits for Minor Illness and Infection

We are able to see and treat patients with minor illness; such as: sore throat, cough, congestion, sinus pressure, ear/eye symptoms, urinary discomfort, stomach ache, and more.  

Other Problem -Focused Visits

We do understand that from time to time, issues that arise that need medical evaluation and treatment. While we do practice within the Functional Medicine structure, we are able to integrate traditional medicine so we can treat our patient's effectively.      

School/Sports Physicals can be completed during regular appointments.

We understand that quality health care is hard to come by these days....and even more so, it's harder to find a provider willing to listen to your concerns and offer non-traditional options for your children. 

While we do not accept children younger than 2 years old for primary care, we will accept children for holistic, alternative, natural or functional medicine. 

Since we do not prescribe medications to children under 2, we do recommend having a "back up" provider (pediatrician, urgent care, etc) in the event medication is needed for illness, etc. 

Dr. Christina sees pediatric patients for Holistic & Functional Medicine. Nurse practitioner Nikki sees children 2 years and older for primary care.   Nurse practitioner Meagan sees children 5 years and older.

If you are interested in psychiatric/mental health care with Nikki, please click HERE for more information. She will prescribe psychiatric medication to children 14 years and older; ADHD (non-controlled medication) to children 4 years and older. Full psychiatric care starting at age 18. 

We are also vaccine, delayed vaccine and non-vaccine friendly! When appropriate, vaccine exemptions can be issued.
